BORDEAUX ROUGE

A very pleasant ruby colour. Elegant and round in the palate with a fine lingering. Well structured and full bodied, this wine represents well the great character and the authentic personality of the great red Bordeaux wines. Blended with mostly Merlot noir it’s elegant and harmonious and a sound value to share with friends. It goes well with grilled meat, veal stew, beef tartare, stews, poultry and some cheeses.

Terroir : limestone and clay with gravels.
Average age : 25 years
Production : 150 000 bottles
Blending : 80% Merlot Noir, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon
Vinification and aging : We aim for fruit and structure in the wine-making. 72 hours skin maceration under cold temperature. Temperature controlled at 25°C. Blending after 18 months of aging – 50% in oak barrels ,1/3 new – and 50% in vat.
