LES BULLES DE FONTENILLE
Crémant de Bordeaux
Les bulles de Fontenille is a Crémant produced according to the ‘Tradional method’. It complies with the specification of the AOP Crémant. Harvested by hand and transported in open crates, and vinified at low temperature to preserve all the fruity aromas. Then we add a ‘liqueur de tirage’ (bottling liqueur) made of sugar and yeasts, to cause a second alcoholic fermentation in the bottle. Then the bottles are laid for 14 months

Terroir : siliceous clay and some gravel.
Average age : 25 years
Production : 5000 bottles
Blending : 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Cabernet Franc.
In Vino Veritas : “… a myriad of iridescent bubbles with gooseberry and rhubarb aromas dazzle the eye, lighten the nostrils, in greedy omens tempting the mouth without restraint. Crispy, even crunchy, fruity, fresh and spicy, the sparkling fills the mouth. Spring roses and almond blossoms develop their graceful bouquet with a fruity flow. Strawberry, cherry and raspberry add to the flavors. In a tight web, nacreous pearls burst into an aromatic festival and strengthen liveliness with their cuddly scratches.”
